Credits are an important feature of film opening sequences. They typography must fit with the film's genre, as it helps set the tone and atmosphere. They should not be overly distracting if there is action happening in screen, but they should be clear and legible.
I looked on www.dafont.com for different fonts, which we could use for the titles in our opening sequence.

Some, for example "Long Leg" and "Akoom", evoked a more horror genre, and these weren't appropriate for our genre of film. We decided that DK Katzenjammer, Plane Crash and Safe from Harm were the most fitting fronts.
We then asked a focus group which font they thought fitted best and why. Their responses are here.

The font we are going to use for the title of the film will we ''Plane Crash'', because its eroded, bold style. This is especially important because the title must stand out in the frame, which is something that our focus groups have picked up on.
We will use ''DK Katzenjammer'' for the other titles on screen. Because it is considerably less eroded than the other fonts, it means that it will not be lost among the action. However, because it is thinner, it will not be too large in the frame overall.
